Me

Ever Being, Never Completed is written and created by Jared Eberle,  a history major (Political Science minor) at the University of Tulsa, who migrated south from Connecticut. If you want to know anything more just ask.

The Site

This site is an online scrap pad of sorts, featuring a collection of links, pictures, and other odds and ends I find interesting, with an occasional long form piece of my own thrown in for flavor.

The name of the site comes from a Frederick Jackson Turner quote in which he stated

History, both objective and subjective, is ever becoming, never completed. The centuries unfold to us more and more the meaning of past times.

The quote for me stands for what this site is all about, evolving over time with new ideas and understanding. For Turner “the present is simply the developing past, the past the undeveloped present.”1

The site runs on Wordpress running the excellent mnmlist theme. The site should work right in every major browser that adheres to web standards, if not kindly do tell me. If on the other hand you run Internet Explorer and find an issue, well you probably should get a better browser.

You can subscribe to the RSS Feed for this site, or comment on twitter, and most of all use the content presented however you feel is appropriate.
